Ms. Xu has extensively represented international financial institutions, multinational corporations and international private equity firms, as well as large Chinese enterprises, including both SOEs and non-SOEs, for their cross border M&A investments. Ms. Xu’s clients include HSBC, DBS Bank, Hang Seng Bank, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Temasek, Prudential plc, CICC, Ping An Insurance, New China Life, Home Credit, Hillhouse Capital, Alibaba Group, Ant Group, Primavera Capital, Carlyle, Baidu, CITIC, China Renaissance, China Venture Capital, CDB Finance, Best Buy, Henry Schein, CVS Health, Watson, Capital Airports Holdings, Sands China Ltd., Xiang He Capital, China Minsheng Investment Group, Springs Capital, OSIC Holdings, Harbin Electric, Shagang Group, Hongsheng Group, New Ruipeng Pet Group, Zhongwang Group etc.
Ms. Xu's recent representative experiences include without limitation advising: HSBC in establishing the first foreign controlled securities company in China, HSBC in wholly acquiring HSBC Life, DBS Bank in establishing foreign controlled securities company, Ping An Insurance Group in the privatization of Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties Co., Ltd., Ping An Trust in the privatization of Qihoo 360, HSBC in its investment into CIPS Co., Ltd., Deutsche Bank in selling all of its shares in Huaxia Bank, a fund of CICC in the Series A Investment, Series B Investment and Back Door Listing of BAIC BJEV, Ping An Life Insurance in establishing a local asset management company, Harbin Electric in establishing a joint venture company with GE, Best Buy Inc. in selling all of its equity interest in Jiangsu Five Star, Henry Schein in numerous projects involving investments in medical equipment companies in China, an investor in the Series A finance following the merger of Ele.me and Koubei, a fund of CITIC in the finance of Du Xiaoman Financial following its separation from Baidu, Round B financing of New Ruipeng Pet Group, and many foreign and domestic private equity funds and institutions in investment and acquisition projects within and outside China.
Ms. Xu received her LL.B. degree from China University of Political Science and Law in 2010, and her Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University Bloomington Maurer School of Law in 2013.
Ms. Xu's native language is Mandarin, and she speaks English fluently.
